Meet the Directors
Director
David Ward
Wardy ‘The big dog’, Managing Director of the foundation since 2016. He joined KidzFix with his best mate Derek to give back to NETS, after both their sons were born premature and needed lifesaving transportation from rural areas of NSW. David's brother Andrew has now now joined the team. The Ward Brothers, known as Team Two Dads consistently endeavour to raise money to help kidz, especially in the north west of NSW where they grew up. David has a passion and a vision for KidzFix to be not only a great raiser of funds for appeals needed in rural areas but raising the profile of the foundations works and the events that support the fund raising.
Wardy's rally driving skills are similarly matched to his cars horsepower, minimal to wanting!!
We at KidzFix are constantly amused at how compliant "the not so big dog'' becomes when requested by his family. That said, both David and his car "Errol'' (all 48cc's) pose big hearts, with lots to give.
Director
Alex Lumsden
Alex is the Real Estate agent to the eastern suburbs elite of Sydney, amateur triathlete, part time hand and hair model, considered the clotheshorse of the Kidzfix family, never far away from his hairdryer, Gucci loafers, or Armani suits. Alex is very active on social media promoting his semi amateur modelling career and all the goings on across the Kidzfix foundation and events.
Alex has had a long engagement with raising money for sick and disadvantaged kidz and being involved with Kidzfix for the past 10 years and other charity rallies prior to that.
Alex is currently a director of the Kidzfix foundation and has been a heavy influencer in our recent projects of the freedom bicycles for special needs kidz.
Director
Tony Emery
CLOD, as he is informally known, named after having a successful soil composting business, he is now in retirement busily spending his kids' inheritance traveling across Australia with his long suffering amazing wife Ria, who tries to keep him alive on a daily basis.
When he's not barefoot waterskiing, CLOD is the Founder and big cheese of Team Shoalhaven, where he musters a group of amazing people who raise tens of thousands of dollars annually, for the foundation through car and golf events around Nowra. A true local of the Shoalhaven, with his collection of V8 cars and a V8 boat and the latest purchase, a 445 horsepower GMC truck to haul his caravan around Australia, he is sure one day, a long way into the future St Peter will be sending him straight to the Peter Brock playground in the sky.
Meet the Management Team
Foundation, Projects and Troopers Lead
Joe Zeidan
Joe has been involved in supporting sick kidz for almost 25 years, raising funds to improve children's health, education and providing great moments of happiness. Today, he passionately leads his team, "The Troopers'' visiting local and regional communities. Retiring his beloved bash car he now drives the troopers van, promoting and supporting Kidzfix Foundation in the most profound way.
As part of the KidzFix Foundation the Troopers visit hospitals, schools and community homes. These visits always bring great joy and excitement, giving individuals the opportunity to momentarily focus on something positive amid very difficult circumstances. During these visits, guests will meet life-size screen accurate characters such as; Star Wars R2-D2, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Dora the Explorer and Buzz Lightyear.
He's always on the lookout for new characters to come on board!
Fundraising and New Entrant Liaison
Alexander (Sandy) Hodgens
New to the foundation, Sandy is the head of a team of Pirates, Lackamoola with his mate Charlie.
Sandy brings to the team an infectious enthusiasm and passion for a rocking good time, record water skiing on the Diamantina River, love of rural Australia and local communities and especially his family.
A cattle farmer from Guyra and former Pearl diver from Broome, Sandy brings his off road experience and connections to regional communities with full throttle energy all under the brim of an Akubra hat with feather attached a sword in one hand and a refreshment in the other.
Vehicle and New Entrant Liaison
Nathan White
Nathan is a train driver, a mild manured man from Mudgee. A former Holden mechanic and avid Holden collector, while he does drive an AU Ford on rally, it is only because he would never get one of his treasured Holdens this dirty and dusty.
In the past Nathan has been heavily influenced by Alex particularly when it came to his efforts on theme nights and dress ups with a mild fetish for spandex, thongs and singlets.
Nathan certainly does love getting his hands dirty, either under the bonnet of a car or knuckling down to raise money in his local Mudgee community. He has raised money for KidzFix for the past 10 years and Camp Quality prior to that, Nathan has recently stepped up to join the management team with dreams of being the fat controller/Course Director one day.
Treasurer
Ross Earby
Ross is a real estate agent on the south coast of NSW. He still plays Golden oldies rugby.
We believe he was born and raised in New Zealand so very vocal around Bledisloe Cup time.
Ross is the Founding member of Team Minions and KidzFix Shoalhaven Ross is well known for his themed dress-ups, whether that be as a Minion or his hilarious Dora the Explorer costume!
Ross is currently the foundation Treasurer, keeping an eye on the books and the impact as a charity for sick and disadvantaged kidz.
