Broken Hill hospital was our inaugural project. A project we were proud to have delivered in our infant years. Once our route was decided, we chose our project in the town which needed our support the most. The KidzFix rally drove into Broken Hill and left a meaningful mark on the community.
In the months leading into our planning, staff and management of Broken Hill Hospital told KidzFix they need a child friendly environment for their kids to escape their hospital beds and engage in play. KidzFix committed to raising funds to renovate an existing space within the hospital that was not child friendly or a safe play environment for the children. The renovation in now complete and included new flooring, play equipment and comfortable seating for families.
