A few proud members of Team Shoalhaven attended this heartwarming 2024 Project Handover: presenting a gleaming, fully wheelchair‑accessible vehicle to the Buckley family. Every detail of this modern van—from its smooth automatic ramp to its spacious, adaptive interior—speaks volumes about independence, dignity, and care.

This life-changing gift was made possible through a powerful collaboration of KidzFix Foundation, Tough Times foundation and Freedom Motor, who joined forces to completely fund the vehicle—covering everything from the conversion of the chassis to installation of wheelchair restraints and adaptive features.Witnessing the joy on the Buckleys’ faces as they tested the ramp and settled into the vehicle was truly unforgettable—tears, laughter, and cheers illuminating the moment.

This handover doesn’t just deliver a van—it delivers freedom. For the Buckley family, errands, school runs, and weekend adventures will now come without struggle or delay.
